i think that instead of taking the radio apart i will try to find programing cable and program i am not to good at electronics

i got it about 10 years ago i have been searching online found a page that lays it out but for some reason its not working first step press and hold the light and dial keys while turning on the radio hold until SEL appears in the display but that never happens no matter how long i hold it just thoug...

i have tried to get my tk-278 into programing mode by pressing the light and dial buttons while turning the radio on but it does not go on to the next step is there something i am doing wrong
