Thanks again.I hooked a speaker from the back of the deck and it was louder than off the radio head.I went ahead and plugged the connection from the radio head and am using the speaker from the deck.Again,thanks for being of assistance.Really appreciate it.

Thanks again.Before I try that the radio has the full feature head and one of the buttons was programmed as the speaker switch.It was like that when I received it and after reprogramming I never thought anything about it.I figured it would clear the old after rewriting the new.Could that be part of ...

tk 630 volume trouble

Hello all,I have a tk 630 that is giving me a volume problem.With the volume turned completely up it is not really loud enough to hear.The ext.speaker is coming off the radio head and the deck its self has the speaker plug in the back.I checked the software for a minimum volume setting like I found ...

Converting a TK280 non dtmf to dtmf

Hello,I was wondering if you can convert a non dtmf TK280 v2 to do dtmf?I replaced the housing on my radio and noticed it had the keypad on the board.Any info is greatly appreciated.

needing info on carrier squelch

Was wondering how to do carrier squelch for encode/decode??Also can the Kenwood Tk-862G be used as a repeater???If so how is it done???Thanks for any input

tuning a kenwood tk-630h

I was wondering if any one could give me any info on how to tune a kenwood tk-630?Also if a tk-630 in the 29-37 range is tuned will it do any freq form 29-50 mhz? Thanks for any info
