Likewise , I used CE14 (tried both version 2.. and 3..) . Also was using DOS only Toshiba 486 laptop . Also tried old IBM 360E (486 50Mhz?) laptop. I think the VPL-1 and CT42 (actually a CT29 with CT28 pig tail) is slightly different - probably "matching resisitor" is a different value on ...
