TK630H part number?

Anyone have the part number for the TK630H? Just bought a 630, but it was missing the main power cable.

Depends on whether you're looking for new or used. I'd suggest either a 730/830 setup or a 790/890 setup. The x30 is not available new, so you'd have to go the eBay route. I'd also suggest finding drawers that are narrowband compliant. (model number should end in -H) I picked up the pieces for a 630...

Kenwood x30 remote head pinouts

Looking for the pinouts for the 6-pin connector on the back of the remote control head. I have the pinouts for the 15-pin connector on the radio drawer.

Anyone?

VX510 to 6M?

Can it be done? If so, how? I have a couple of brand new high split VX510s that aren't doing anything. There's no way I'll recover my investment, so I might as well play with them. FD only has 1 lowband freq worth listening to, but that's been crossbanded to UHF.

MDX Remote Kit

Anyone have a part number and price for an MDX remote kit?

Better yet, anyone have a kit laying around that they'll part with?

That helps. Looks like I'll have to wait until my R2200A gets here (hopefully) soon. I'll let you know how I make out.

KF4SQB, thanks for the help. Over the next couple weeks, I'll be moving everything over to my new vehicle, so that would be a good time to play with it. In all honesty, I've never had to retune a radio, so I really don't know how to adjust the RX Preselector. (The bandsplits on my VHF and UHF MCS200...

Reviving an old thread...

Ok, I'm reviving an old thread. I'd love to dump my 630 and go for an Orion, but I just can't swing the cash right now. How do you get a 630 into 6 meters? I know about the software; it just looks like I can't get the VCO to lock properly. Earlier in the thread, it says something about retuning. Any...

LB Radios to 6M?

I'm looking into purchasing a new 6000, 5500, or 4000. Has anyone had any luck taking any of these radios from the 37-50 split up into 6M? That, and that alone will be the determining factor for me. Else, I'm off to purchase a used Orion.

I've seen the x90 setups go new for over a thousand. The x30s are a lot easier to find though. I have a 630/830 setup in my car, and I love it. I'm thinking about getting rid of it though, as I don't have a need for lowband anymore.

Kenwood x30 mods for dualband use

Greetings all. After several months of trying to track down the parts to put together my 630/830 dualband setup, I have finally put together everything I need... except for the info. Here's what I have so far: -TK830 with KCH4 head, modded to 160 channels. -TK630 drawer unit, original 32 channels. -...
