EMP PROGRAMMING PROBLEM
I have been trying to program an EMP Edac handheld but I have had some hangups with the Windows Programmer. I believe it is Programmer 4. Every time I try to read the radio, it reads the code plug then comes up invalid feature data, and the same happens when I try to program a new code plug into it....

Problem with MDX mobiles
I have an MDX mobile that is not working properly. When I push the on button, the radio begins to turn on and then all the lights and display go off. I checked some of the voltages on the DC input and they seem to be ok. Has anyone had this problem and know what it might be ???
Thanks, Metro121

MPA HAMFLASH
Is there a way to get a UHF hamflashed MPA to work in the 450-470 split or do I need to UN-FLASH the radio.
How would I unflash the radio if needed to work the higher band?
Thanks in advance. metro121

LPE-200 programming
I recently picked up an LPE-200 Edacs but it has been programmed with the latest version of programmer.
If anyone has the latest version, would it be possible the send a copy my way.
Rasdtek is down and they have the first version only.
Thanks in advance.

I am leaning in the direction of the RSS as far as the problem goes. If I can use the Orion DOS version to program the radio out of band , then it would have to be something in the Edacs 3 and 4 that tells the RSS to not complete the task when it gets to the programming point where it starts to down...

JAYMZ, I have done the mod that you are talking about for the band limits. I was able to get the EDACS 3 windows version to accept the new limits BUT, when I tried to program the radio, the download would stop about half way and a screen would pop up saying that the new frequencies where out of the ...

I have been also looking for the DOSS RSS to get the Loband Orion into the six meter band.
Does anyone have access to it and can possibly supply a copy.
Thanks

Try here, they have the schematic for the ge programming cables.
You do not need a Rib with the Orion cable. It plugs directly to the comport of the computer.

Out of band programming
I was able to get my loband Orion programmed but the windows version would not let me program out of the specified band limits set in the RSS. Does anyone know how to get around this problem with the Prgrammer version or is there another RSS that is a DOS version and would allow out of band programm...

MDX Flashing
I am looking for some one who knows how to get an MDX 800 trunking radio to do more than 1 system/16 channels. I Cloned my MPA into the MDX but I can only access the first 16 channels in the first system. I read the radio and it has all the systems and groups. I am assuming that there is a byte in t...
