Thank you, thats exactly what I needed.

Question, what is the difference between E2 (Mic) and E7 (Ext. Mic)? I am looking to pass audio from another source through the radio. Would I use E2 and Ground or E7 and ground?

If anyone is interested, I was successful in bringing a 150.775-174 panther into the 2 meter band...WITHOUT changing the bandsplit to 136-155. I can detail what I did if anyone wants to try it.

Modifying Bandsplits in Programmer

Does anyone know how (or is it possible) to modify the bandsplits in Programmer by hex editing or another way perhaps?

I was wondering the same thing about the 500P's. I have several in the 150-170 split and would like to use them on 2 meters.
