I can speak for the orion....I would recomend the tk-630 you only have to re-tune the VCO and the RX senitivity which is so simple. I sent you a message on yahoo messenger. Reply to me there and I will help you from there.

conversion

I guess what I am really interested is seeing information on tuning the radio out of band. Finding the product datasheets isnt too much of a problem bringing into the ham band is what I want to know.
