M-PA universal device connector

Did the M-PA ship with a cover for the universal device connector? I hate leaving the contacts exposed when I don't have a speaker-mike attached.

Battery datecodes

Does anyone have a decoding chart or whatever for Icom battery packs? I have one here with what I believe is a datecode of GGD-A and I was just curious what that decoded to.

Thanks,
Pat

Regency/Relm RSP500 batteries

I have some old RSP500s I'm trying to locate replacement battery packs for. I've done some searches on a few battery sites to no avail. Anyone know of a company that makes replacement packs for these radios?

Icom IC-H16

A few days ago I had the battery pack off one of our IC-H16s, and when I slid the pack back on it sparked a little bit. Now the radio doesn't power up. What I'm wondering is whether there's a fuse or something like that inside, or is the radio pretty much screwed? It's not a big loss if it is, but i...

I know for a fact that the TK-370G can be modifed to be field programmable. I would assume the TK-280/380 and TK-290/390 could be modified in the same way.
