My own EDACS!
How much money/work/parts would it take to set up my own little EDACS system, assuming such things as frequency licenses and other bureaucratic BS is taken care of? Something small consists of maybe 10 users max and a small geographic area. Like a "gee-whiz" kind of thing.

MP-A's and encryption....?
How does encryption in a MP-A work? I know that encrypted is an add-on board, but is it limited to Aegis, or can a MP-A do DES or DVL, with the proper board?

Can a S850 be converted?
I still have that pesky S850 control head....I ask now whether I can convert the head to conventional operation, a-la /\/\. Basically, how can I make it into a S825? Or am I trying to make a pipe dream happen?
