Has Vertex's policy on software changed recently?
Tried to get a copy of the VX-420 software from tech support to poke around since we are considering buying some and they will only give it to registered dealers.

VX-10 recase
Looking to perhaps recase my VX-10 -- it has a crack in the center of the bottom of the front panel assembly, from the two-button panel all the way to the battery. Yeah, same size (or very close), but it has a different connector on the side. Might be the same connector as the VX-900/600. (95% sure it is. look at the specs, see if its the same speaker mic.) VX-600, VX-800 or VX-900
When on duty (volunteer EMS), I have a need to transmit on both VHF and UHF frequencies. Any opinions on carrying two VX-800s (one VHF, one UHF)? Opinions on the VX-800 in general?
