Anyone accomplish this yet? Preliminary research shows that the SC5 files don't work on the P5300 portable for 900Mhz OOB.

Actually I meant a systems model M-RK not an M-RK I, but that was my fault for not being specific.

I did get it working, apparently the problem resulted using the key strokes out of order. OOPS!

I'd still be interested in the M-RK I second bank feature. That would be neat.

Anyone know the trick to get the 2nd bank (32 groups instead of just 16) to function on the M-RK? Buttons are assigned as Opt 2 and then Opt 2 is further assigned as 2nd bank in the systems general tab. Groups were then assigned under knob options 1 thru 32. Button beeps happily, but it wont go into...

Have an EDACS 800 M-RK 512k systems radio. Recently just got this back to life with the great folks at the MACOM TAC with new feature data. Radio is once again working however the keypad buttons function intermitantly and the sys/group knob won't change groups. Its not a personality programming issu...

I do not believe GE-STAR was ever implemented beyond being sent to the console only and field units only receiving from the console.

That's most likely do to the age of the Rangr and MPA model and the fact that they can't go narrowband.

Anyone have one around with at least EDACS in the feature encryption data?

Any word from Macom on what portables and mobiles will be "flashed" to handle rebanding?

If that's the one you have from me - its a 128 system group flash. It was upgraded long before I ever had it.

I have often found the model tags don't really reflect the actual options present on the M-PA's.

will a 132-160Mhz split 730G take NWS freqs at 162?
