Thanks for the reply.I've tried to register at batlabs and for some reason am unable to do so.I did find a link on batlabs for digi-key.com and they have what I need.Thanks again.

IC-F50 programming cable
Hey all,can anyone tell me what programming cable is needed to program the Icom IC-F50?I have looked on ebay and the only ones I can find are for the F4's I belive.Would this cable work or is there one for the IC-F50?Thanks for any help....Jason

Thanks ka7wnf...I figured the Motorola's would be cheaper,but wont each one do 64 channels?I know the 90 series can be upgraded,but can you set up 2 CDM'S like you can with the Kenwoods?@ separate radios with 1 remote head?Thanks for any info any one provides.

Looking to buy either dual band Kenwood or 2 Motorola CDM125
Hell all,was wondering if you could give me some input on which radio to go with.I am either looking at buying a 90 series dual band(low band/high band) or 2 CDM1250's(1 high band 1 low)Can anyone give me some info on what the radios might have in common?Thanks for any info....Jason

Thanks for the info.I am located in Tyler county,I dont believe I have anything to worry about with that.I'll do some research to see though,but I dont believe I would be a bother to them.They are a few hours away from me.

Thanks for the information Starion.The provide.net link gave me the information I was needing about Line A and Line C.It shows 18 states affected and West Virginia is not one of them.As I mentioned before there are no local gmrs repeaters in my local area and I would like to get one up and running.T...

Using a vhf antenna on a low band portable
Hello,I'm looking to settle a debate between myself and 2 friends.We run on low band(46...mhz)and they are saying you can use a vhf portable antenna(150 mhz) on the low band portables.I'm no radio guru,but I dont think that is possible.If someone could help me settle this,I would appreciate it.
