Repeater SM6000

Has any put together two sm6000 radios to make a repeater?

Question is! what connection wire is used bewteen the 9 pin plugs?

Are they just straight thru?

Is it a special cable?

Yes Iam having trouble understanding where to connect everything. I have the zetron manual but I do not know where to connect to the 4450's. I will post some more detail later in the afternoon about what wires fron the zetron go where. Hope someone can help

DTMF Programming

I need to program a device using a DTMF radio. All I have is Maxon. Can I buy a DTMF mike and use it with my Maxon radio to program the device?

Do I make any sense?

The device said it can be programmed remotely by a DTMF radio.

I just found them easy to use, program and cheap.
