Johnson Scorpion radios and the ham bands
Does anyone know if the UHF Johnson Scorpion radios will go down to the 440 ham bands? If they do is it just in the programming or is there internal tuning that needs to be done?--thanks

TK-8180/8150 and Ham bands
Does anyone know if the TK-8180 or 8150 will do the 440 ham bands? I was looking at getting one of these units but so far I haven't been able to find out if the 450-470 mhz radios will do it or not. I know you can use the SP tune for some of the other Kenwoods but what about these? Any help would be...

Re: MRK AEGIS with Conventional Repeater
I ran into this awhile back and was told that there is an additional piece of equipment that needs to be added to the repeater to make it work with AEGIS radios. I can't remember what it is called though. I wanted to do this on a community repeater that I buy air space on. I wound up using voice inv...

I just did 6 of them today with that same issue. Take the rubber channel selector knob off and there is a very small allen screw on the selector. Take that out and the tip will come off. I turned all of mine upside down and the little plastic piece fell right out. If it doesn't a tiny screwdriver sh...

The sticker is the one that says MRK on one side and MA/Com or the GE symbol on the other.I only need one so ...
