The ignition wire was the problem. Once I hooked that up everything lit up just fine. Thanks for the responses and the help.

ma-com radios do not need to be flashed since they are programmed in Logical order unlike motos that use a store freq database within their rom

I thought I heard that I would not affect ma-com gear since all the gear uses freqs that are programmed into the radio in logical order.
