I have a 99 ch uhf vertex. The problem is when it picks a signal up, it sometimes stops, or sometimes it stops just enough to get a glimpse of the screen then it is off scanning again. When scanning with the radio after about five min. or so, a low tone beep will sound and the radio stops scanning. Im not sure what the deal is but it gets pretty annoying after awhile.
