Wow! Somebody else has the same problem! 20 years ago I had a Bearcat, I believe it was a 210 that I had mounted in my car. It had that sloped front on it which was nice for a tabletop, but didn't work too good as a car mounted model. I took the LED display out and turned it upside down, pulled out ...

Thor, Download the manual today, although the repeater I have is an 800, everything pretty much looks the same as in your UHF manual. I briefly looked over all the components and compared them to what you had and it looks as though I'll be able to finally get this thing up and running for what I wan...

Using DPL makes it a bunch harder for the average HAM radio to get into your system, the vast majority of radios out there don't have DPL. I would recommend that you use different transmit and receive DPL, just to make it one step harder for him, if he has a decoder. As far as using unusual splits, ...

How about using DPL on your repeater? Most ham rigs won't do the DPL and it's much harder for the novice to figure out. Especially if you have the repeater receive and transmit different DPLs, that makes it MUCH harder for them to figure out. As I look at your radio list, most of them (if not all) a...

I remember seeing some of these at a hamfest several years ago. My best guess at that time was that they were diode programable UHF radios. The ones that I saw worked and when I keyed it up, it transmitted on 460.xxx or somewhere in that range. I didn't spend too much time with them, that was just m...

Wow, I just noticed that I first posted this just a few days shy of a year ago! Welp, I've still got 2 of these repeaters sittin here and still haven't done a thing with them because I'm still looking for a manual. Both of them that I have are pull-outs from some sort of 800 trunk system. Neither ha...

Standard Repeater RP70
I'm looking for anyone who can give me some information on a Standard RP70, 800 Mhz Repeater. I'd love to find a service manual, but someone who could help me with programing would be great!

Clone cable for 2800?
I'm looking for someone who knows the pin-outs for the IC-2800 cloning cable. I believe the part number is OPC-478. If you know the pin-outs or know where I could find them, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Kel

Batboards down?
Is it just me, or is the batlabs boards not responding?
Tried it several times last night and again this morning, each time the server times out.
Is it really down? or did my wife figure out a way to block it out from my computer so she could sleep at night??
