I picked up an Icom IC-F30LT VHF portable, I have read references to this radio being capable of FPP. However, searching high and low yields no instructions on how to enable FPP. Anyone have any idea or is this just a rumor?

the difference between Vertex and Motorola, is with Ma M, you signed a LICENSE AGREEMENT which entitles you to updates. Vertex software is just a parts sale in their eyes. If they come out with a newer revision, then you have to buy it again to get the latest revision.
