I had tried that method, and as it turns out, on this particular radio you have to press hard on both. The radio is up and running fine now. Thank you for the reply.

Okay..........After setting up to go through the program BUT before I connected the cables, I changed the battery and tried to demonstrate the problem for our chief, but it went away, even though I must have changed that battery a dozen times. Lets get the disclaimer out of the way first. I am not a radio tech. That being said, is it possible to change an MPA with a split of 136-150 MHz to 136-160 MHz? Any help with this question would be great.
