Re: Kenwood TK 840 Programing help
How to get out-of-band on Kenwood TK840 using KPG-25D software: To get the 840 out of band, open the software, hit the "alt" key, then move over under "model". You then select number 3, which says "tk-840". It then asks you if it is an "F1", which is 450-488, ...

Don't know if this is common knowledge yet or not, but here is the HD15 to DB9 programming cable that works with late model control cables for M7100: http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww77/n_zero_ndp/M7100programmingcablemountedradio.jpg I made one of these about 4 years ago and it works just fine...

Re: Ericsson KRD 103 programming cable schematic
"KRD 103" does not give us enough info about the radio in question.router wrote:I am looking for KRD 103 programming cable schematic.
Here is an example:
The real model number will look something like "KRD 103 123/2" which is known as the Ericsson EMM mobile.

Re: Orion with Pyramid Repeater HELP!
Are you sending your modified keypad file into the radio during the last stage of programming?
You must tell ProGrammer to overwrite the default keypad file with the one that has been modified with the
AUX1 key in it.

Re: MPA PTT side tone?
Only place I can think of is under the "F7" DTMF tab. There is a Side Tone
selection there... Just guessing, but maybe it works for GE STAR as well.

Re: M/A-COM P7100 UHF-L Out Of Band Programming
n_zero_ndp Do you know anything about P7100 out of band poigramming? Never tried the P7100 (don't have one to experiment with), but I do have an ORION out-of-band. I would never expect a radio to work 20mhz out of band if your radio bandsplit cuts off at 430mhz. The VCO and rest of the RF hardware ...

Re: Conventional ProGrammer R19A (re)Activation
Not all is lost if a M/A-COM radio has last been progged with R19. All you have to do: Using an older version of ProGrammer, do not read the radio . Just build a new personality from scratch and write it. Problem solved. This works with R18 for sure. Unlike an /\/\ radio, you can go back in time......

Re: Activating FCC menu?
I think it requires FEATURE 18 - Test Unit operation
This feature has not been available since the LPE (as far as I can tell)......
Agency I used to work for had an MRK or two with the FCC menu option. We used them for low tech
drive tests and in-building signal diagnostics......

Re: M/A-COM FLASH/DSP Question(s)???
First Question: Can someone tell me which of these is the latest DSP firmware??? F6R06H01 or G6R06H01 Second Question: Are these DSP's able to be used with either the P7100IP series & the 700P series radios??? (The reason I ask this questions is because both radios appear to share the same FLAS...

Re: 630/730/svr200ud can't read radio in kpg7d
If I have this straight, you have a 630-2 radio and that is 36-42 mhz. You want it to go to 47 mhz. I assume your flashing display is telling you the VCO is out of lock. Have to mod the VCO to go 5 mhz out of band and I'm sure the performance would not be good. The lowband radios can only go about 1...
