VX-900 UHF AS1 frequency & VMDE-200 programing
I bought a VX-900 UHF AS1 model (400Mhz - 430Mhz)and tried to program below 400Mhz and up to 438Mhz. I can tell the radio cannot program below 400Mhz and cannot program up to 435Mhz. If you program 399Mhz, the programing software [CE-39]will correct it back to 400Mhz. If you program 431Mhz to 433Mhz...

Normally, I only need the 430Mhz to 437Mhz for HAM BAND use. The model that I am going to buy is VX-900 UHF AS1 model and the spec shown the frequency cover range is 403Mhz to 430Mhz only. Thus, if it can program more 7 Mhz (to 437mhz) it is enough for me. Due to in my country the UHF HAM Band is be...

F5D-14 for VX-900
I am going to buy a Vertex F5D-14 (5 Tone En/Decoder unit) for my VX-900.
I heard this board function is same as Motorola MODAT the leading ID Code, is it true ?
Does it meant if I set the ID in my Motorola Radio in MODAT, only my VX-900 can communicate with ? (like DCS & PL Code)

MDC1200 Sidetone
Hi, I own one VX-900 VHF and program to 144-148 HAM Band.
Yes, it does but the sound in receive side like big M Saber (not Astro Saber).
You can progrom Lead PTT ID or End PTT ID.
The side tone from your VX900 which you heard is like "BEE", personally I fell not like Astro Saber so COOL.
