Thanks for responding. I got my radio last week, and the cables are not the same. The Yaesu is like a telephone, and the Vertex is like an ethernet (I always forget the RJ numbers). If Vertex would have answed my e-mails, I would have ordered a programming cable when I got the radio. Now I have to w...

Programming a VX-3200
Hello, I just ordered a VX-3200 VHF radio last week. I currently own a Yaesu FT-1500M. They are both programmed through the mic jack. Does anyone know if the pin-out for the Yaesu programming cable is the same as the Vertex VX-3200? I already own the Yaesu cable, and if I don't have to buy a new cab...
