Does anyone know of a vendor that has the icom 207H programming software Part number, CSW-207/2710 available. I have checked Universal, HRO and AES and no one has any in stock. Someone must have NOS package somewhere. Anyone know of a 3rd party package that will program the 207H?

Does anyone know what type of connector end the opc-646 has? I have seen 3 references and 3 different descriptions. One said it was 1/8 plug, one said 8 pin modular, another said it connect where the remote head connected to.

Re: Narrowband Splinter Channel Repeater from two TK-730G Radios
Would such a radio be type accepted to use on any service if your misaligning the radio. I doubt it would be legal in services requiring type acceptance, but would be legal on the ham bands.

Thats a good price, but if your going to spend 400 you can get a new computer for a few bucks more. If you need a rugged laptop then its a good deal.

Re: TK730 Scan
Most likely you have the scan setup so the MIC must be grounded You can change this in software. A quick check, Ground the mic to the radio and try to scan.

Re: Kenwood TK 830 Question
The tk-830 is not narrow band compliant. There is a tk-830G that is compliant but you cant upgrade a non G to a G.

Re: tk-760-h panel lites gone
There is a transistor Q405 that appears to control the LED lights. It also links back the SB line on the Mic.
I can try to copy part of the schematic if you need more help.

I dont think you can legally do what you want to do. You just cant toss a repeater on any freq pair you like. You first need to be alocated a repeater pair. Then you can setup a repeater. Not in most cases your two mobiles WILL NOT meet frequency stability requirements and would not be legal in eith...
