Any way to get a 440-470 MRK ll to go to 474.## transmit and 471.## receive on two freqs???

i have both the programmer, ( newer software,) and the older Orion/MRK software.

Yes it seems to be. check ebay. You can usually always find cables and software there. I bougght my cables there, no problems. software also, no problems.

That I do not know. Most likely not, unless you cut it to desired length. No cut chart comes with them.

Battery zone.com has aftermarket antennas. They may be "tunable".

:eeek: Just for s&g's, I just checked the windows software. It will take 440 freqs, but the vco may not lock to allow it to tx and rx. I put some 495/499's in my demo at one time. It would tx at 499 but not receive the 495 freq. It only put out 2 watts or so. I will keep looking for the laptop. PB

It will progrsm with the vertex windows software, not sure about the DOS. Where to buy, not sure. Check for the company website...

No off hand. I do not know if we have any more in the shop not being used in the technical library. there may also be something in programming for scan. I know I have one in our squad that scanns open channel, by mistake.
