Relm-Uniden SMU250KTS scan
I have reprogrammed a Uniden SMU250KTS from trunked to conventional. I have a scan button and Sc on display and the mic clip grounded. The radio does not scan. What should be checked in programming for normal conventional scan?

I was able to obtain all the service info on the mic and connected it to a power supply and a scope and the mic seems OK. I am going to get the radio soon and try it on the radio. Thanks a lot. I got the first radio programmed and it works good. The second one programmed and does not work. It will not transmitt or receive when PL is on. The tech help at Kenwood said to short the third hole from the antenna. The web says to short the second hole. ??? The tech say to move a jumper inside the radio. I can not find a moveable jumper inside. This enables the self program feature.
