Relm-Uniden SMU250KTS scan

I have reprogrammed a Uniden SMU250KTS from trunked to conventional. I have a scan button and Sc on display and the mic clip grounded. The radio does not scan. What should be checked in programming for normal conventional scan?

Re: VX-824--Prog for 2 tone decode

Hello Paul. Thanks for the help. I have not been able to get the radio back to complete the programming. I am sure that I can compare your program with mine and find the problem.

Re: Desk mic problem

I was able to obtain all the service info on the mic and connected it to a power supply and a scope and the mic seems OK. I am going to get the radio soon and try it on the radio. Scott said the desk mic would not work and he used a mobile mic and all was well. I need to check it all again myself. T...

Sometimes I need to purchase Kenwood accessories that are not available from the two Kenwood parts distributors. Can a non Kenwood dealer get an account with Kenwood to purchase these accessories and not radios?

Re: Programming a TK-240D

The tech help at Kenwood said to short the third hole from the antenna. The web says to short the second hole. ??? The tech say to move a jumper inside the radio. I can not find a moveable jumper inside. This enables the self program feature.
