There are two versions of the N models. The circuit boards are different. I can look up something for you. The prefix number of the serial number tells which manual to use. The N models are the later models and can be computer programed.

Does the TK-360 heliflex antenna have a center contact or is the stud the the contact? This radio has a very distorted and unstable PL encode tone. What could be causing this?

VX5500 Questions

I need a dual control 5500. I would like to connect the radio or one of the remote heads to a 4010 console, would it be better to use the D connector on the rear of the radio or connect to the mic connector on the head or to a connector on the side of the radio?
