Is it possible to convert an epu4992m to make it 16 ch instead of 14.

It's kind of a sticking point as to me wanting to get one.

Some radios i found to make out of band is to edit the default file (if doing new)

Or read the radio and save the data file. Seach for the band limits it should be toward the end.. and modify and viola...

Im really thinking of just putting a MT2000 style antenna on my EFJ radio.

i took one off my 800 and uhf they are both red.

Is there anyway to tell the difference between the two antennas. They dont appear marked.

Reason im asking is i have a UHF and i think it has an 800 antenna on it and it seems like reception is off.

Got a vx4000 lowband 40-50 split. Have a c49 file modified to allow entry to 54.00 mhz.
