Thanks a bunch. I wanted to get a version 2 but unfortuatly I got a the older version TK380. Damn Ebay

Anyone know if you can upgrade the firmware on an older Tk380 to make it have the extra features of a 2.0 version Tk380? What would be a ballpark cost on this?

All set I found out how to do it.

Can anyone tell me how to set the priority channel on a vertex vx10, I got it scanning ok however I can't figure out how to set a priority channel.

Does anyone know if the Kenwood Tk380 can be programed with a PTT sidetone, if using FleetSync signalling?

Not sure about cdm1550LS but I had the same problem with a Kenwood Tk863G some one put a data password in. All I did was read the radio until it asked me for a data password and then click on write to radio and this cleared everthing.
