Master ll repeater

Master ll repeaters will tune down to 440. But, on the other end, how far will they tune up??

Looking to get 475.5 on the rx end, and 472 on the tx end. Price was right on the equipment. Already have duplexer, and icoms.

:beer: We also use both MDC 1200 and DTMF ANI. We can actually decode both with the 920.

Our VX4200 control station will also. Nice advantage. Some of the guys were complaining about the way to grip the submersible speaker mike. After two weeks, no more complaints.

Programmin a Panther 600p

:eeek: How do you get a panther 600p portable to scan?? Not exactly most user friendly radio to program. I also need to add more channel groups. Any insight greatly appreciated.

:beer: I am using a Dell with Xp pro fessional. So far no problems. I have not tried the VX10, but no one I know has one any more.

I have a Toshiba pentium 1 for a back up just in case..

:beer: I am running XP pro on my Dell laptop. So far no problems. I was ready to smash the laptop, but found out my Norton virus software was messing it up. Uninstalled the Norton, now it works great. I have programmed a few VX510's and had no problem. Overall, I am happy with the 920's performance....

Probably is a firmware issue. I discussed this with our "Vertex King" in the shop today. he aske me to e-mail our tech contact at vertex about this issue. I program my radios I own with a softkey for talk around, so I can load more channels. Most of our customers, 99%, use another channel ...
