There's many places yon the web you can get it. There is a DOS version and a Windows ("Programmer") version. Either will work and there is no restrictions, such as if programming with Windows version first you can still use the DOS version afterwards.

You should be able to find a newer version easily on the Web. I Googled "KPG56d" and found something right away.

M-RK: Removing Channel Selector Stop?

Before I go breaking anything......... How does one remove the channel selector stop from an M-RK radio? I just got hold of two and they both have selector stops on them that I'd like to remove. Thanks.

Coverting Mot RIB to GE RIB?

So I see Price sells a converter to enable GE rib TQ3370 to program Motorola radios. Anyone ever tried converting a Motorola RIB to work as the TQ3370 RIB?

Is the s/w supposed to run under DOS or Windows? If it's DOS then you should boot into DOS, NOT Windows's DOS, and run the program.

I will tell you this. The PCMCIA serial adapter does NOT work in DOS. Yes, it should be a tap right onto the bus, but it's not. I've tried my SIIG card on mine, my brother's, and my two buddies' laptops and the SIIG PCMCIA serial card did not work in DOS 6.22 on any of them. These were all different...
