Re: UHF radio installation into a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid

I did a MCS2000 UHF radio install in the ford hybrid suv ( i think it was the escape model ) and there was no difference from any other install I have done in the past. All the same precautions ( air bag clearances, hole drilling clearances, etc. ) as any other vehicle.

Re: Ericsson Panther 500P VHF Opinions

Does anyone have any experiance replacing the battery pin assembly on these radio pc boards? It sure seems like mission impossible to me without destroying the replacement units.

Re: Ericsson Panther 500P VHF Opinions

Thanks Tom - someone else sent me the users manual in pdf and I was able to figure it out. Strange you can not access the scan list via the program software. Guess i have to get out of the moto state of mind. :)

Re: Anybody hae experience with a battery conditioner?

We use the Cadex 7000 with the charge cups for our particular portable batts(MTS2000, XTS2500/5000, HT1250) and it works fantastic. I have to agree with k2hz that for NiCads & NiMH batts the absolute max you could expect out of these is about 2 years(especially for pub saftey use). You may get 3...
