Not trying to sound like I am giving you a hard time, but it might help if you give us some sort of context in where there this is being used.
Are you talking about a radio, a console, a sail boat, a truck or just what?

Re: What does a 5300 go for on used market?
Depends on how hungry someone is. Ebay might provide a hint as to what some stupid people are willing to pay. Others get more reasonable and can find some great deals there. As far as the EFJ radio goes, you will need a programming cable and the software to match the radio. Don't know what that will...

Think your link for the photos is busted.
It might help if you provide the board number if these came out of a GE mobile or base station radio.

Contact Ma-Com in Lynchburg, VA. Don't have the number, but they should be able to help. They are the old GE company under several name changes over the years. They also have the name Tyco Electronics tacked on to them. You might even try their web site: http://www.tycoelectronics.com and see what c...

Re: New System, New Problems
You will need the programming cable, EFJ part number 023-5100-920. It has a serial 9 pin connector on it to go directly to a computer. You will also need the software for the radio. Not sure what the firmware is in your radio. The software needed will be deopendent on the numbers that show up on the...

Re: TK-3170 Programming
Unless my English has miss led me, I don't see where this person has asked for any software to be sent to them. I believe the question was how to do it. Don't get carried away with the police state here for someone asking a simple question on how to use some software. These type of questions are how...

They seem to be a rugged radio. The National Guard hasn't been able to kill them.
Just make sure you obtain the programming cable and the software to program them with.

All the UHF 5100 radios I have played with were made to go down to the 380 MHz channels.

Re: EF JOHNSON 5100 = AN/PRC-127EFJ Portable Radio
To program the EFJ 5100 portable radio, you will need the EFJ software PCCONFIG. The exact version will depend on what was used to program the radio the last time. You will also need the EFJ programming cable part number 023-5100-920. This is a cable that plugs into the serial port of your computer....

Re: P5100 Programming problem
You will need a copy of the EFJ program called PCONFIG. There are a number of different versions out there. The one you need will depend on
what version was last used on the radio. You will also need the programming cable EFJ part number 023-5100-920.

Motorola low Band Maxtrac mods for 6 meters needed
I have managed to get the RSS to accept 6 meter frequencies. You need to go in and HEX edit several locations. Four of them to be exact. My next issue is to get the VCO to operate correctly. This is where I am looking for some pointers. Also can someone point me to the location that sets the channel...

Most of the time, the jumpers is near the EEPROM. Jim [quote="wvsptech"]I am trying to find the jumper inside the Delta S or Delta SX UHF transceiver that lets the radio accept frequencies downloaded from the control head. If anyone has any information, or the LBI for the Delta UHF, it wou...

Re: DX Radio Systems Millennium
I will give you one piece of advice about DX radios. Find something else. They have a very poor RX front end and are real bad with intermod. Other than that they perform fairly good. Software for programming takes a little to get use to. Jim [quote="Boomer740"]I don't know where else to as...

You might try joining the Yahoo group "GeDeltaRanger" and see
what they have to offer.
Think I remember seeing some info and files there about just what
your looking for. It is a good place to ask about this information.
