Uniden Repeater - HELP!

I'm looking for someone who can answer my questions about the following repeater:
Uniden Model MRS-802/890/A/B/C
It appears to be a desktop repeater with a local or repeat option. There is an SO-239 and an "N" connector and a BNC connector on the back of the unit.
It appears as though there are syntisiysed VCO's for transmit and receive inside, but I have no clue how to program it. I currently can make it do much of anything other than receive on an unknown frequency.
It doesn't say Motorola on it anywhere, so I'm completely lost, anyone who can provide me with a little assistance on this unit, I'd deeply appreciate it!
