GE Crystals Source

Post by Julian »

:) Just signed up and registered.

Wanting to start a collection of certain older radios. Saw one the PD/FD I dispatched for in mid-70's had. Thought I'd buy it.

I have spotted an older GE that uses a crystal.

Please advise of a source or two for crystals you've had success with.

Thanks,
Julian

I have always had excellent results from International Crystal Manufacturing. They are a little more expensive than some others but they get it right the first time and the reliability is excellent.

Here is a link to their web page for GE:

Julian -

I don't know what part of the planet you're on, but if you're in the southern California area you might try MH Electronics in Rancho Cucamonga. I've dealt with them for years, they make a good product and stand behind their work. Their customer support is excellent *after* the sale, too! (800) 643-9825 or (909) 989-1976. I've purchased crystals from them for many types of older Motorola and GE gear.

Good luck,

Paul
