I am not sure if this will be considered off-topic or not, but here goes. I was in Radio Shack today and they have the Radio Shack Coleman Powermate 2-in-1 Emergency Car Starter & DC Power Source PMB-8110 Radio Shack Catalog # 270-4121 on clearance for $9.97. I was sort of thinking that this might be a good backup battery to power my Uniden Bearcat BC796D during power outages or for trans-portable operations. However, I have been unable to find much information about this. I have searched http://www.coleman.com/coleman/home.asp http://www.colemanpowermate.com and http://www.radioshack.com and I am not seeing it listed. Does anyone here have any experience with this? How big of a battery is this? This webpage compares a few devices and lists this as a 4.5 aH battery http://www.weasner.com/etx/buyer-ne...upplytable.html Does anyone know approximately how long I could run a BC796 on something like this?
