As the bluetooth revolution is replacing the older induction and RF earpieces, we are getting to the point where we just about can not build anything worth while.
But, for the ones who have not seen this.
A single IC the size of a transistor that is nearly the entire radio.
This works very well in converting older hearing aids to radio earpiece duty.
You will need to build a very simple AM transmitter for your talkie, to take the send the audio.
The range is around 4000 feet max in open air.
I first found out about this IC from some people who were making use of them to cheat on collage tests.
I have been hooked ever since.
