I am looking to clone a pager that I use at work. We don't have enough and have to trade off every month. I have the exact same pager, same frequency range, but different freq. Is there any way of cloning one of these? I noticed what appears to be an infrared lens on each of the pagers. I've tried to put them next to each other and press different buttons. Am I wasting my time? Do I need to purchase an ifrared cradle? Thanks for your help.

To put it simply, you need the right hardware.

If your paging is sent in flex, get an advisor elite flex, and program it for your freq and capcode. They are synthesized, so change freqs easily. They are all over ebay.
