I have about 30 ef Johnson radios that I need to program, I don't want to spend the 25 a piece the dealer wants, Anyone have any information on what I need to have to program these?
I don't know anything about them, I would need to get the stuff to do it, so if someone could help with that, that would be good too.
Thanks.

Well, depending on the model radio you have, you may need the following: A radio programming interface box, software, and cables.
OR The OLD PROM Programmer II and the appropriate chip to "burn"
At our shop in Maryland, we charge 35.00 to program a radio, so I don't think it's a bad price unless you plan on getting ALL of them done at once.
30x25=750 WOW!!
I guess you might buy the stuff from the dealer , if they'll sell it to you. If memory serves, the box , cable, and software runs about 300-350???
Hope this helps.

Hello.
just a quick question.
Can the johnson radios you have do cloning?

You cannot clone from radio to radio with most radio models. Being as we have the needed "stuff" to program radios, we don't have any cloning cables.
