VX-150 oddity

Post by WC4RAV »

I have a brand new VX-150 I got from GigaParts and it does something strange:

Memory channel 1 always gets erased and overwritten by either memory channel 2 data or the last memory channel (in this case 82). I have tried resetting the radio and it still does this.

The radio is factory fresh, has not been modified or boogered with.

Any ideas or should I just send it to Yaesu for warranty repair (it's only 3 days old!)

Not like it's really a big big deal, it's just annoying.

I think this is some sort of factory error in the programming, I have read about this before on mod websites

VX150 oddity--

I experienced the same problem--I believe the solution was to turn on the 'band edge beep'(?). Problem immediately ceased. -Radtech-
