The Radio Information Board

Any one ever had any problems with A FT-2800M not transmiting? I just bought one that was a tech special, so I knew it had a problem. I was hoping it was a bad ptt switch, but nope, it is something inside the radio. when i checked for 4.99 V on the PTT line there was none. also made sure it had a good ground. any ideas??

No personal experience, but I have read they have a problem blowing finals.
