Post by N3CHU »

Hi all, just trying to find the discriminator audio output point on the Vertex FTL1011 and 7011 radios as I am interfaceing these two radios together as a bidirectional simplex repeater. I have evrything going except the audio . I have the servive manual but the discriminator audio point is not jumping out at me. any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Davie N three CHU

at J1003 pin 4, pin 1 should be at around 8 volts potential. J1003 is the only 6 pin connector on the main RX/TX board.

Another point is on the IF IC, MC3361, pin 9 or on the end of R1039 which is a 8.2 k resistor coming off of PIN 9 of the above IC.
