Hi,
I'm using CE27 with Win7 laptop and Rs-232 cable in order to program our VXR-7000 VHF repeater.
As you know, Windows is pushing for SO upgrade to Win10.
Do you think there is any drawback to do it? Will the CE27 work? Anyone of you already use Win10 with CE27?

thanks in advance

If its 32 bit then yes... I haven't been able to get some of the radio programming software running on 64 bit but thats understandable. I have 32 bit Windows 10 Pro running on my workbench PC and it runs everything fine. Just put CE-22 on it tonight for the VXR-1000 and that ran just fine and was able to reprogram one.

If you have 64 bit then it might not work, but if you have the Pro version you can create a virtual machine and run 32 bit on that, or VM Ware and run a virtual machine of any OS, i have a VM running of Windows 7 as well for some really old software that refuses to run on 8, 8.1, or 10.

I just tried CE-27 and it runs fine on 10, again its 32 bit though.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but things do seem to be somewhat glacial on this forum. (No complaints, just observation. I'm glad it exists.) This is the type of information that brought me to this forum as it was difficult for me to find anywhere else. This post is for those wondering if CE27 1.08 might work on 64 bit Windows.

I have used CE27 v1.08 on Windows 7 64-bit so it should theoretically work on 10 64-bit since it works on 10 32-bit.
