Duplexer Question

Hi. If I had two dual band ham rigs in a vehicle (ones up front, the other in the rear), can I use a duplexer to connect both to one antenna? Thanks.

The VHF/UHF duplexer output supports one VHF and one UHF radio. You could use it if one radio was dedicated to VHF and the other to UHF only, otherwise it will not work. Same band cavity duplexers are frequency selective to 2 specific, widely separated frequencies in the same band.
The easiest solution is to install 2 antennas. The next possibility would be an antenna switch or relay if you only use one radio at a time.
There is no simple solution to have two transceivers operating on the same frequency share an antenna. There are splitters that support 2 or more receivers and combiners that support 2 or more transmitters but these are one way devices.
The use of 2 transceivers on the same frequency band into one antenna requires some means to keep the output of one transmitter from feeding into and destroying the other receiver. This means either bandpass filters or some type of switching device.
