Kenwood TK3107 vs Motorola GP2000

Hi, I been using the Motorola FRS/GMRS T Series walkie talkie and the range is too short. I intend to purchase a hi end walkie talkie and i got two choice in mind which is Kenwood TK3107 or Motorola GP2000. Can anyone advise me which one to get or another brand which is good and cheap.
