Further research shows 242-5318-201-AAAB 4 was already decoded...so it shouldn't be much different - so what's the last "4"?
VHF 50W remote mount, P25 conventional, no encryption?
re: 242-5112-888
From a previous post by I.S.: "888 was their old designator for demo radios. It is nearly impossible to tell what options were installed unless you can 'read' the radio"
So...it's pot luck? VHF Conventional/P25...may or may not have encryption?
Hi, i am new to the EFJ radios, now i found a EF Johnson 5100 Series UHF R1 i am interested in, i would be awesome if somebody can give me a info witch features in the radio, especially if it can do P25 in conventional. The model number is: 242-5126-460GZ4.

I don't have a CM options designator either.
This is a Series 3 which means it has the Motorola UCM module. This is the only radio that can legally do DES-XL. My guess is that this radio is/was military surplus and that it will have DES-XL and possibly AES.
It could have OTAR and FPP but I cannot guarantee that.
It will most likely have Digital Conv for sure. Cannot guarantee any of the trunking options but going off the GM code and designators near that it COULD have SN/SZ(both ANA and DIG) and P25Trunking.
