Are you sure you are Programming the Right NAC Code ? If you don't than you will not hear anything on the one radio .

I purchased 3- EF Johnson used hand helds- Avenger SI-HL93 Model No. 242-8152 locally to possibly reprogram to use on 900mhz Amateur Radio Band. Two of these seem to be in working order as batteries charge an display lights up when units are turned on. I have no experience with these radios and checked Mods.dk for operating manuals but to no avail. So I am asking for any help I can receive in programming and putting these radios on the air, if that's possible. Thanks for reading my post. I am located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

I highly suggest you avoid this user if he replies to you. 5 months, no radio, no cash, no reply. Read the link below.

[admin note - fixed link. The radio.the161.net domain is retired, if you can update your links to radioinfoboard.com. I also turned off the user account you were having issues with, and will lock the post... doesn't seem to be a reason if he's cheating people out of equipment to leave it open.]
