The Wilson WH2507S is specifically designed to operate on the VHF RCC frequencies of the early 1980s, before the first cell phone. Without major reconfigurations (replacement of the EPROM, microprocessor, keypad - no longer available, and several component changes to the main board and VCO/audio filter board) this radio will not operate in the standard VHF frequency range and is not keypad programmable.

There was a UHF model number WU1514S.

I have modified several in the past when the parts were readily available, and when I worked at the factory.

I hope this helps, even though I am sure it is not the answer you were hoping to get.

Regards,

Bill
