trying to figure out the power plug for my GE MVS radio has one black (ground?) one orange (+ battery?) and on same cable a red wire (+ switched?) out of the rear of the radio also has a small red wire (no clue)...any ideas? thanx

Dont think it came from the factory like that. Pwr& grn & ign along with ant is all I have ever seen. It was not designed for add on ie paging encoders & etc. Mike-KF4KKY

Some of the ge radios have an extra wire for a mic hangup/scan interupt.

The red wire is the ignition enable, putting it to switched B+ will turn the radio on and off.
