M-RK: Removing Channel Selector Stop?

Post by Splat »

Before I go breaking anything......... How does one remove the channel selector stop from an M-RK radio? I just got hold of two and they both have selector stops on them that I'd like to remove. Thanks.

I just did 6 of them today with that same issue. Take the rubber channel selector knob off and there is a very small allen screw on the selector. Take that out and the tip will come off. I turned all of mine upside down and the little plastic piece fell right out. If it doesn't a tiny screwdriver should work to pop it out then put it all back together.

 DOH! I don't know how the hell I missed that allen screw in there! That's what I get for attempting it at night. :gojerry: Thanks.
