P5100 Programming problem

Post by cgroftmc » Tue Aug 21, 2007 2:42 pm

I am trying to read a P5100. I am getting a "Can not initialize radio, check connections....." I have a Jag 700P that works fine with my set up. The 5100 goes into programming mode fine. I am using Programmer Ver 16. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

You will need a copy of the EFJ program called PCONFIG. There are a number of different versions out there. The one you need will depend on
what version was last used on the radio. You will also need the programming cable EFJ part number 023-5100-920.

What type of programming cable are you using?
What is the flash code version of the radio?
